What items do you carry at your store?

We carry major name brand mattresses of all sizes and types, as well as sleeping accessories (such as box springs, mattress pads, pillows, and bed sheets). At mattress source, you will find inner spring mattresses, latex mattresses, memory foam mattresses, Sealy Posturepedic mattresses, and much more.

Should I buy a new box spring or foundation when I buy a new mattress?

Yes! A good box spring is as important as a good mattress. If your mattress is worn out, then so is your foundation. When you select the mattress, purchase its companion box spring. The two are designed to work best together, and the foundation makes up only a small percentage of the set mattress price.

What is a no-flip mattress?

A no-flip mattress is exactly what the name implies – it’s a mattress that you don’t have to flip. Also called a single-sided mattress, a no-flip mattress has the comfort layer built on only one side of the mattress. Most of the mattresses made today are single-sided in order to eliminate the need to flip the mattress, which can be tedious and difficult.

How do I clean my mattress?

The best way to keep your mattress clean is by covering it with a protective mattress pad (available in-store). Vacuuming is the only recommended cleaning method. If you must clean a stain, use mild soap with cold water, and apply lightly. Don’t ever soak a mattress or foundation, and don’t use dry cleaning fluid or other harsh chemicals on your mattress – these chemicals could damage some of the comfort and upholstery materials.

How often should I replace my mattress?

You should replace your mattress every 8 to 10 years.

Isn’t a firm mattress better?

Firm is not always the best. The best mattress will be the one that feels the most comfortable and supportive to you.
